Meet David, her husband, her two girls Kendyl and Kalesia, and her two sons Davian and DaKari. All of whom participate in some shape or form to the family business. Her daughter Kendyl help to direct and produce these videos as well as the ones for the Academy. While Kalesia does her best to keep the boys quiet. Her sons help out on the Meal Planning and taste-testing to let everyone know that their dad has skills. This family business is a labor of true love. Kiwana's greatest accomplishment will always be my family.

The fact that her family has been through so many financial situations keeps her humble, and helps her connect to other families without them experiencing any judgment. She tells families it may be a long road but Kiwana is there with you through every phone call and action that needs to be taken to help get you to your financial destination.

Our future depends on families getting their finances in order. Finances govern every decision you make from what you eat, to what you invest in. We believe that people do not start their dream or vision because of money.
Time out for that!!
Families start working on their blueprint and immediately see all the financial abundance that exists around them. The dark financial clouds move when you are putting your money on a mission.
Some of us have had to learn by trial and error when it comes to money and we all know that some mistakes are not easy to bounce back from. We did not always get it right financially, but we always knew where we wanted to be. So when God opened up our home to walk through our tough financial season, we went through, and are opening doors for other families as well.
Meet The Thomas Story
We have been through the wringer with our finances and God put us through what we now called the S4I Stewardship Academy. In 2010, we looked up and we were bleeding out money. All I could think was, How did I get here? I am a tither, I have a college degree in finances no less, but here I am, swimming in debt without a life raft. I would look at our daughter and think of myself as a failure because I couldn't take her on a vacation or give gifts without going into more debt.
Now one thing David and I never argued over was finances. We gave each other room to vent, breathe and hear each other's dreams because dreaming was free right. We were not able to save anything at this time. We would use credit cards for gas and food because we could only afford the minimum credit card payment every month. We were at a place where we couldn't see the bright road ahead.
So I prayed to God in tears and told God that enough was enough and that we had to do something to get in a better place. The next day I sat at my computer and started to put together a debt repayment program in Excel that showed us a 5-year payoff plan using our tax returns to pay off our debt. The strategy that God gave us was working and we were staying inside the budget until we were ordered double in child support payments and our tax returns were taken away to cover back payments.
After crying out to God again, he began to show us our ram in the bush and that allowed us to stay the course that he had put in place. We have to make a conscious decision that our financial peace and freedom mattered more than what everyone else thought. Well, by following this strategy what was supposed to take five years, God turned our whole financial situation around and we became debt-free in two years. We became addicted to paying off our debt and when we saw it was working, all of our financial confidence came back. Our credit scores started to rebound and we couldn't help but feel FREE.
During our two years on our financial journey, we were able to tackle our debt and living expenses on only one income and no federal tax refund check. Also during this process, my husband's credit score went from 300 to 676 in the first 6 months. Not only did God show us how to become debt-free, but we also continue to live that way. During this time we tithed when we were upside down, and what we thought was a setback was a complete set up for God to show us a new way of living financially free.
To date, we no longer pay interest on our credit cards, we both keep EXCELLENT credit scores that sit comfortably in the mid-800s. Absolutely no one runs our credit without us asking the "right" questions. We can save our entire tax return for investing or family activities. We are still faithful to this strategy because it keeps us sleeping peacefully at night; free from worry or unpaid bills. By managing our finances the correct way our wallet is no longer open to the vulnerability of others. The financial fence we have around our home keeps predators at bay and helps us to live a life of true financial abundance.
I am truly thankful to God for our testimony and I knew at this time God was calling us to help others by way of our testimony and strategies. So to be obedient to what God had done in our life, I made a promise to show others and we have done that since 2012. I believe that we had to go through this program first before we could help others, so we could connect with others no matter where they start.
